  Inside the Exciting World of the Family

The instructional pieces designed, is a Web Quest titled Inside the Exciting World of the Family, which was created using Zunal web builder. This instructional piece was designed to be used at a standard one primary school level to:

• help them develop an appreciation of self and family as well as for others. 

• engage children in active learning.

• encourage children to become researchers and in charge of their own learning.

• develop skills such as problem solving , critical thinking, creativity skills, and to enhance literacy and vocabulary skills.

This webquest can be used as a Social Studies activity when introducing the concept of self or as a creative and fun way when introducing family. This will allow children to be in charge of their own learning while they gain confidence and knowledge about family.
